1. Information We Collect

Wallet address

If you connect a wallet or use a wallet-linked feature, GLOBE stores your public wallet address as the main account identifier for saved progress, entitlements, and leaderboard context.

Gameplay and leaderboard data

GLOBE stores gameplay records such as guesses, distances, completion status, streak or replay eligibility, leaderboard placement, and related timestamps. This helps the app run the daily challenge, Learn Mode, Hard Mode, referrals, and replay access fairly.

Optional host identity

When a supported host provides it, GLOBE may receive public identity details such as a Farcaster FID, username, display name, profile picture URL, or similar host-linked account metadata. This is used to label your results and improve the in-app experience.

Local device storage

GLOBE uses browser storage for anonymous play progress and lightweight app preferences such as dismissing helper surfaces or keeping local game state when you are not connected.

Technical and server log data

Like most web apps, GLOBE may receive IP address, request, and device information through hosting, analytics, and infrastructure logs for security, debugging, and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Run the daily challenge, Learn Mode, Hard Mode, and replay logic.
• Display public leaderboard names, ranks, and related game stats.
• Verify wallet-linked access, referrals, share replays, and optional purchases.
• Detect abuse, prevent cheating, and debug app issues.
• Send optional in-app or push notifications where you have opted in and the host supports them.

GLOBE does not sell your data for advertising or data-broker use.

3. Information Sharing

GLOBE does not sell or rent your personal information. Public leaderboard details are visible to other players by design. Blockchain transactions are public on the network where they occur.

Data may also be processed by service providers that help run the app, such as database, hosting, analytics, RPC, wallet, or notification services.

4. Third-Party Services

GLOBE relies on third-party services including:

• Supported app hosts and wallet apps, including Farcaster-compatible clients, Base App, MiniPay, and World App.
• Neon PostgreSQL for saved game, entitlement, and leaderboard data.
• Vercel for app hosting and server execution.
• Blockchain networks and RPC providers used for optional on-chain features.

Each third-party service has its own privacy and data-handling policies.

5. Data Retention

Saved gameplay, leaderboard, entitlement, and referral records may be retained to keep the game fair and the public ranking history consistent. Local device storage remains on your device until you clear it.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can request access to or deletion of data associated with your wallet or host identity by contacting the operator. You can also clear local browser storage directly from your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

GLOBE is not directed at children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect app data, but no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. You remain responsible for the security of your wallet, device, and any third-party account you use to access GLOBE.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated over time. Continued use of GLOBE after updates means you accept the revised policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
